Defeating evil with EXTREME PREJUDICE.
I’m not really sure what was going on with the magic in this episode, there were fireflies OF DEATH, masochism, giant destruction rained down from the sky via Knights of the Old Republic and time reversal (which admittedly looked pretty cool). Nothing much else to comment on; there was re-affirmation of the fact that Stiyl wanted to be there for Index but the memory wipes prevented him from fulfilling his loli urges, the typical “I don’t want to kill things anymore because I’ve been killing lots of things my whole life” speech from Aisa and Index manages to get herself in trouble. Again. This time from directly walking into the enemies’ HQ. She was better off benig controlled by “John’s pen” or whatever that was, at least then she could fire deadly beams from her forehead.

Aureolus Izzard is much more interesting, not only does he start 80% of sentences with an adverb (delicious adverbs) but he’s also an alchemist, Time Lord, Acupuncturist, lightning user and gun user (last two assumptions taken from OP and preview. Go on check. See?) Plus he has a white suit and green hair. What’s more awesome than a PIMP suit? I’m pretty sure that he’s just going to be revealed as a guy who’s trying to help someone else but is going about it the wrong way; why else would he show up as a “villain” this early in the series and be said to be trying to accomplish some greater goal. Or I could be wrong. Either way I WANT ME SOME ACTION. And running awkwardly down a CG hallway for 2 minutes does not qualify as action.

One last thing, that uppercut looked painful. Also the music in this show is great and it’s killing me that there isn’t anything better to go along with it than talking, running and pudding.

Blood? Disturbing smile? I like…
I dropped this show about a week ago. Based on your take on this episode, I don’t think I’m missing much.
@ghostlightning
I have so much hope for this show. I’ll still see it through until the end.
