Because a cold belly is the devil’s plaything
They really managed to pack a lot of information and developement into 21 minutes.
Bullet Summary:
Chiko, Tome and Shunka head to a cottage at a beach resort. Shunka is haunted by her past as 7 years ago her sister drowned here. Chio uses deductive reasoning ( and a bit of deception) to convice her that ghosts do not exist and her sister is not angry at her. Daphne The “White-haired Devil” shows up and hypnotises Akine, Shunka, and Tome and they try to directly feed Chiko the poison pills. However, Tome wakes up and saves Chiko, who is stays alone, as she believes she will continue to be a bother to her friends (and Akine).
Thoughts:
This was a great episode, containing some interesting revelations and the transistion from character developement to main story was handled well. We still haven’t learnt the name of thE “White-haired Devil” and I’m still no sure what kind of reason this crazy women has for trying to kill Chiko and killing anyone related to Nijuu Mensou; there are better ways to draw someone out of hiding than killing everyone they know.
What is this, a 1940’s Disney Cartoon?
The Auntie really just needs to go now, she’s not even a real protagonist. Not only does she try and drop a pot on Chiko’s head, but then she tries to pass this of as good, homemade food.
Understatement of the fucking century
We, surprisingly, got a bit of developement from Akine as well, who apperently lost his sister in the war. I could feel sorry for him… but I won’t since he still turned into a slime-ball. The developement of Chika was very welcome, as I thought she was just an Ojou-sama looking for a bit of excitement, but it seems she has her own problems and is glad to have Chiko as a good friend. She even says that in her hypnotized state and she also does other things…
This would be so awesome if there weren’t poison pills in her mouth.
And she wasn’t trying to kill Chiko while hypnotized.
Well, thats just wrong and a poor excuse.
Unless your talking about birds
And from what I’ve seen, you’re not a bird.
What the heck was up with Devil-Woman’s (from heretofore she will be reffered to like this, even when I know her real name) hypno-ability? Actually, its not that surprising when you think about it; she can bend like a snake and use ninjutsu. As long as we stay within the realm of reason I’m fine with how they develop her. Wait a second…
WTH!? Suicide!?
Oh, she can teleport.
-_-
On second thought, this show also had a giant robot in it, its far far awawy from the constraints of the so-called real-world.
Anyway, hopefully Chiko will re-unite with Tome and Shunka Ken-nii and they get to some lovin’ finding the other two again, then we have the setup for Chiko finding Twenty Faces (if he’s still alive) taking over the world. MUAHAHAHAHA!
And now, Caps Galore!
Save your energy for later….
At the beach! Yay!
What were YOU thinking of?
Tome Service :3
Oh no! Chiko’s one weakness!
One is Chiko, the other Mistress Chiko.
Heiress to Twenty Faces. Possesser of Hax.
This is Chiko ^_^
Now meet Mistress Chiko…
NOOOOO! NOT SHUNKA!
NOOOOO! NOT TOME!
NOOOOO! Not…
Eh, do what you want with the bastard.
Zombie Patrol, Advance!
I knew you’d wake up first Tome.
There are elements of Mistress Chiko within you also ^_^
