I’m really not kidding. Lots of weirdness/ goriness after the jump. Click at your own risk.
Oh yes, that might be a bit too tame for the likes of some of you. So…
How about now?
You know when someone tells you not to do something and then you just go ahead and do it anyway, either to spite them or just to see what all the hype about something could be about?
This manga is the reason you should LISTEN TO THEM.
There’s MUCH worse than this in the manga but I didn’t want to spoil the “surprise” for those brave enough to read it. There’s lots of rape, lots of gore, and an extremely confusing plot, as well as some great fight scenes but that’s besides the point.
Just don’t read it if you’d like to go to sleep without horrible nightmares of monstrous killers, mostly in the shape of lolis, or believe you have any shred of innocence left in your soul.
Holy shit I must read this series.
LIKE NOW.
@xephfyre
May God have mercy on your soul.
My 8th sense tells me that blissmo will love this.
I’ll give it a try too, have to see how horrifying it is. Did it beat Elfen Lied in the gore arena?
@Hynavian: From what I’ve seen even Elfen Lied is like….er….CLANNAD….to this series.
By the way Omisyth this Manga is the awesome.
I LOVE THIS MANGAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!
It looks fun ^_^
…and now that Hyvanian had mentioned blissmo, I kind of miss her and more of the Yukan! Blog already 😦
Dear lord. Must find this nao.
I must read this one immediately
@Hynavian
MY 15OOth sense says that she won’t. Nor will you. Nor will anyone who has a sense of decency.
As for the Elfen Lied question, the
degeneratexephfyre sums it up quite nicely.@xephfyre
I think you mean teh awesome. And it isn’t. It’s teh BLEAGGRRH.
@21stcenturydigitalboy
Now you really ARE going to hell. Not like there was any doubt XD.
@kanzeon
It IS fun! If you like seeing intestines strewn all over the place.
@Zan and Cinderbird
I shall pray to O-Haruhi-sama for you.
I’ve had this on my computer for weeks now but didn’t get around to reading it…but now, damn curiosity is getting the best of me!! >_<
Same. Must read it and compare to Biomeat.
@53GR10
My task is complete! MUAHAHAHA!
@ffviiknight
Biomeat’s like Maple Story compared to this.
[…] is it that when people tell you not to do something, you go ahead and do it?? If I was asked to touch that exposed wire from an outlet, I won’t do it…but since I […]
[…] (I salute thee..). I’d rather read Tokyo Akazukin (thanks to Omisyth’s “recommendation” XD) with those intestine bursting and slicing. And I can’t believe I’m saying […]
When I read the first Tokyo Akazukin, I fell in love with it. The integration of the gorey, lusty, and demonic completely took me. I sat and read the entire series. That, by FAR, has got to be the best manga I have read in my entire life. I should probably make a cult…….Sorry. I must be one fucked up individual, but I guess I’m kind of proud of it too.
=^_^=
Couldn’t agree more
By the way, I think that the part where Akazukin and ViVi are fighting should also be posted. I love the de-torsoing.
oh just shut up fucking bitch, tokyo akazukin is nice and original 🙂
(@ above comment and also original post)
Actually, this manga is pretty weaksauce. Maybe it was the translation’s fault for being so incomprehensible, but the gore and sex got pretty dull by the end, and I had to force myself to finish it.
I’ve already read it, and I loved it, nothing better than this!
I mean the main character is just so perfect, but besides that ruko and veluno were excellent as well (though they didn’t get a whole lot of screentime)…
honestly I’ve seen people who read this for the gore and tried to get past the lolicon, and vice versa, I read this specifically for it’s unique blend of gore and loli.
plus theirs nothing better than badass lolis who could kill you in an instant.
[…] Tamaoki), because of two posts by bloggers digiboy (Yes, I am Going to Hell for This.) and omisyth (Two Reasons NOT to Read Tokyo Akazukin). With teasers like that I just had to pick this up! The protagonist is an 11 year-old […]
What is the weirdest porn you have ever seen/heard of?…
As far as aesthetics are concerned, the Japanese art of bondage, Kinbaku or Shibari, can be very beautiful to look at. They use very intricate tying patterns made with jute/hemp ropes and has its own rules of form and artistic rules- who knew BDSM coul…
Most people who read this enjoy the grotesque and dark parts of manga so honestly you’re not deterring anyone; just making a fool out of yourself.
I honestly thought this manga was pure genius and I have searched forever for even a Japanese copy of it online without success.
I dunno whether I’d call it genius but it’s certainly a lot more clever than it’s given credit for.
Fun extra: read it then read Watamote. You may notice some similarities beyond the most obvious.
