Saionji Sekai: Kitchen Knife

Shitsux, amirite, Makoto?

Less of an amazing weapon in and of itself, the kitchen knife which killed Itou Makoto deserves to be in this list. Almost, if not all, people watching this show were hoping for the death of this sonofabitch for a while, and to finally see this happen (especially after a week of delayed airing) made it all the more sweeter to watch. It easily topped Makoto’s bad end in the VN, where he somehow took seven minutes to die. The guy could barely keep his pants on, how would he have the will to go on living after a mortal wound like that?

Reasons why the Kitchen Knife rocks:

• Sekai, not content with just leaving Makoto to bleed to death, causes multiple fatal wounds to Makoto, one of the greatest assholes I’ve seen in an anime, with her trusty Kitchen Knife.
• It killed Itou Makoto.
• It’s nice to see the knife decorated with Makoto’s blood, glorious in it’s time of use, it almost seems to shine sadistically as its repeatedly plunged into its victim.
• It killed Itou Makoto.
• If the sight was not enough for the hatred of so many anime fans to be quelled, we also have the sound of the weapon benig used to it’s full capacity, disturbing and gratifying at the same time.
• Did I mention it killed the crap out of Itou Makoto?

I have never been so happy for one single knife to exist.

Honourable Mention:

Katsura Kotonoha: Saw

The saw only loses as it didn’t kill Makoto. But it gains an honourable mention as it did kill Saionji.She was kind of abitch throughout the series too. CRAZY KOTNOHA FTW!
