Your words shall forever echo within the depths of my heart, O Lord.
Clannad is back and still hilarious, heartwarming fun. It KyoAni decided to start off with some light comedy (though not without it’s hints of drama) to get back into the swing (lol baseball pun) of things, and this was a good decision. After around 6 months without Clannad, jumping straight back into the meat of the series would be kind of uncomfortable, but this way, I get what I loved and what got me hooked about Clannad in the dirst place: the comedy. I don’t think I’ve seen a show able to meld drama and comedy so well that it seems like the two go hand in hand.
Humble in victory.
Everything’s still top notch, as always. The music was one of the things I loved about Clannad, and I’m sure I heard some remixes, as well as the return of old favourites in the episode. The OP is fantastic animation and music wise, even better than the first season; I’m just hooked by the repetition of arpeggio’s at the end juxtaposed with the singer’s voice. The ED, though fun and joyful, cannot compare to the Dango Dai Kazoku (You knew it was coming.)
Just one thing, I really hope we see more of the alternate world storyline, as it was one of the reasons I was addicted to the show. I won’t be blogging (relationship speculations are not my style) but will be avidly watching.
This is the definition of ORZ.
I lol’d at Choux’s post. You shall too.
