And good animation. And great voice actors. Hell, I love this show already.
Tsundere’s always work. Powerful Tsunderes always work. Powerful Loli Tsunderes always work. But Powerful Loli Tsunderes voiced by Kugimiya Rie are GODLIKE. With combination of these four factors I will always have ended up liking Taiga, but it really surprises me how much I ended up liking the show as a whole. Ryuuji’s a great lead (which was something severely lacking last season) and him being misinterpreted as a delinquent always made for good comedy.
Don’t fuck with him…
Or he’ll CLEAN YOUR HOUSE.
I don’t care much about voice actors, but the two main characters are pretty strong. I especially like the suprior, degrading tone of voice of Taiga. In fact, to me she shall henceforth be Taiga-sama. The show really does have a lot going for it, good art and animation, great voice actors, well-done romantic comedy and a hot MILF. Too bad that there was that mentally impaired parrot, that was just… weird. THere also seems to be some sort of message about dolls or something, but I was too busy watching Taiga-sama kickass to really notice. Can’t wait to see how she manipulates Ryuuji to her will, that dog. The ending was surprsingly good to and in my opinion half of voice actress/actor ED’s don’t normally pan out well.
I’m actually on the fence about blogging this one. I’m definitely watching it, and I wasn’t intending to blog it in the first place, but if the secind episodes as good as this one, I’ll probably be compared to take it up as a full series.
Rolling locker loli.
A dream come true.
Believe it or not…that parrot is a lot cuter in the anime than the manga! :shudders:
“well-done romantic comedy and a hot MILF”
Looks like I’m not the only one who saw that. lol….
Wooot! I love this series already! Houses with censored sinks are WIN!!!
Powerful Loli Tsunderes (voiced by Kugimiya Rie) always work… To put me off. I’ll probably only continue watching this if there isn’t much else in this season to peak my interest.
@53RG10
I cannot comprehend what looks worse than that…
@7
I think you’ll find that’s the only thing I saw for that entire scene.
@kanzeon
That’s almost exactly my house. Only it isn’t. I think. I can’t see past all the piles of rubbish everywhere.
@issa-sa
But they have the quadrafecta! <— not a real word.
I just caught episode 1 and it was soooo hilarious that I can’t stop laughing. I think that all the characters are so hilarious (even the parrot) that it might end up being one of my favorite series for this season. If all goes well, I’ll be following Tora Dora to the end.
@Hynavian
Taiga and Ryuji are like oil and water. And that’s what makes their dynamic so fun to watch. I’m pretty sure I’ll be watching this to the end.
