#4 Fate/Stay Night
Archer – Unlimited Blade Works
You didn’t think I’d let the list die, did you?
If there is one thing I could take away from watching the Fate/Stay Night series, it was that Archer was f**king GAR. He looked badass, sounded badass, acted badass, hell, I bet he even SMELLED badass. Though the series is kind of fog at the back of my mind, I do remember him dying an epic death at the hands of Berserker Hercules. So UBW isn’t an actual weapon in and of itself, it’s still freaking awesome and not even Gilgamesh’s Gate of Babylon can compare, simply because this is Archer, KING OF HEROES. Bitches.
Why Unlimited Blade Works rocks:
- The incantation. Everything about it screams that YOU (the opponent) ARE SCREWED. Also, Steel is my Body and Fire is my Blood? Best. Quote. Ever.
- It looks amazing. In the background, gigantic black gears churn in the distance, in the foreground a dusty, wartorn plane littered with thousands of blades which are at his disposal as he stands tall in front of his enemy. Epic.
- He’s able to use the abilities of any of the wielder’s who possessed the weapons he held to become an adaptable, efficient killing machine.
- He can levitate the weapons within UBW. Flying swords of doom that trump even Byakuya’s.
Recalling all of this just makes me want to watch Fate/Stay night again. AND YOU SHOULD TOO.

Does UBW itself qualify as a weapon? I thought it was just a reality marble with a bunch of weapons that are lower in grade compared to the original? But hey, I’m not much of a TYPE MOON fag so don’t quote me on it. ;P

I wonder how many variations on his name with the word GAR can be made. Though that’s probably the limit.
YEAH for unlimited blade works. Nice effects and so much power that I won’t want to even imagine fighting a real life opponent with that much power.
