#2 Death Note
Yagami Light – Death Note
The power to kill in the palm of your hands…
Finally, something a bit more unconvential on the list! Death Note was one of the greatest psychological thriller anime ever. It questioned morals and the nature of “justice” itself, all while providing entertainment, in-depth characters (for the most part), some priceless anime moments and many a “keikau doori” meme. Watching Light’s slow corruption from ally of justice to God of the New World was an enthralling experience, made moreso by the way his wits were pitted against someone of equal if not greater intelligence, L. An excellent seris from start to finish, centered around the mysterious Death Note…
Reasons why the Death Note rocks:
- It’s simple to use, as long as your not completely illiterate.
- All you need to know is your enemy’s name to be able to kill them.
- It’s not bound by the traditional restraints of weaponry i.e you don’t have to see or even touch your enemy to kill them with it.
- It’s power is absolute; once someone’s name is written in the Death Note, they will die, no matter what.
- It’s customisable. For all you sadists out there, you can kill your enemy in any way shape or form you wish, detailing their death to the letter.
lol I’m the only one (so far) that voted “Give it to the authorities.” xD
but seriously, I’d just kill off the people I don’t like slowly though “accidents”.
Yeah, its amazing what a worthless looking book can do. Throwing books at others might cause accidental injuries or deaths (book to head, book to lips, etc) but nothing beats just writing and indirectly deciding the fate of someone. It’s creepy!

Books may in fact be the deadliest weapons of all… cos KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
If I have a Death Note, I would get someone else’s autograph.

Outsmarting people ftw.
I don’t know, I think that the Death Note is the ultimate weapon if you ask me. All you need is a name and a face. And if you make the trade, then both are easy to get.
Actually, there is a way for someone not to die: if two people write the same name in two separate Death Notes at the same time, the victem won’t die.
Another missunderstanding: you need both a name AND a face to kill someone. That way you don’t kill everyone bearing the same name by accident.
Also, if the way in which you kill someone is physicaly impossible (like saying that they died yesterday when they were alive today), then they’ll just die of a heart attack
