Is what may happen to Index. Poor Index ;_;
Unlike the previous episode, this episode had a large amount of talking that wasn’t mind-numbingly boring because 1. There were welcome (if brief) periods of action 2. It wasn’t just a chracter reeling off facts about magic and 3. it was comprised mostly of character/plot developement. Also, Samurai Girl is hooooot, if emotionally disturbed (she went from cold and mechanical to pissed off and crazy within about 3 seconds, started beating the crap out of Touma with the sheath of her sword. Wouldn’t want to get on her bad side).
At least we got an explanation as to why Stiyl wasn’t steaming about being crushed by the TOUMA EPIC PUNCH; he and Kaori are part of Necessarius. What I didn’t understand is why, like Touma said, Sityl and didn’t just tell Index “Unless we vacuum out your brain, you’ll die” and instead try to capture her by attacking and chasing her constantly. Screw not telling her because their feelings would’ve been hurtseeing her both sad and accepting when they tell her, the other way they did things almost got her killed so you’d think by now they would’ve tried to change tactics.
Touma’s magic canceller can’t do shit against a sword. Only now do I realise how truly weak he is; all he can do after stoppping others from using their magic is either punch them or run away. Or maybe kick them.
There is an increasing loli to girl ratio in this show that I don’t entirely welcome.
Judgement has yet to make it’s appearance outside of what’s-her-name with the badge on her shoulder, and it just makles the organisation semm a bit disorganised if that girl is one of their members. It’s too cute to be taken seriously.
There’s really not much to say, despite the large amount that was said in the episode. Everyone (even the “bad guys”) cares about Index and doesn’t want to see her get hurt, and Index doesn’t want to see Touma get hurt, and Stiyl and Kaori have somehow magically figured out that using words instead of weapons on their important friend might be the better way to go. I’m not sure how she kept avoiding them before anyway, she’s just a magical girl without any powers wearing a cloak.
Next Time:
Loli teacher gets wasted.
“Only now do I realise how truly weak he is; all he can do after stoppping others from using their magic is either punch them or run away. Or maybe kick them.”
EXACTLY. Which for some reason really really bothers me and gets on my nerves. I can’t stand weak men. 😛
“There is an increasing loli to girl ratio in this show that I don’t entirely welcome.”
for seriously~
On the other hand, I’d totally welcome not having to hear that chick yell “ONEESAMA!” ever again
@Hoshi
You simply have high standards, milady.
