This post is dedicated to 3 bloggers who have been lost in the sea of work, laziness, school or perhaps even writer’s block that has spread like a plague through the blogosphere. Disappearing without a trace, we can only speculate on where they are now.
Some say that issa-sa was simply lost among the mazework of Japanese cities; before her/his inexplicable disapperance, its blog turned into a chronicle of trips to places such as Akihabara and Shibuya. Who knows what trials and tribulations he/she undergoes now?
Ironically, Teeif’s blog name could well represent his own state of affairs. Known to me as one of the few people who still followed Naruto Shippuuden, perhaps this was his downfall; such an absolute amount of FAIL pooled into one location may have created a black hole that ripped apart his home. Or a wormhole that dumped into Japan.
Perhaps Korasoff was so disgusted by Toradora’s Inko-chan that it put him off anime forever. Or maybe he’s run off to ind a three dimensional version of Nom Nom Kallen (which I think we could all sympathise with).
Alas, these are just a few of this illness of post delayage that seems to be plaguing many bloggers as of late; some (myself inclueded) are seeing that posting frequency is on the steady decline as workload/RL overwhelms us and they must simply take a break. Or hire new writers. Although, unlike before, I have acquired some level of tact since then, so I won’t point them out; any blog readers will automagically know of them. But fear not! The holidays, no matter how far away they are, continue to approach, and I have every confidence that we shall see the avid return of many bloggers. To any who somehow manage to read this, please let us know you’re safe and well!
This isn’t filler <_<.
Blogging is no longer as popular. Many people have busy lives that take them away from this online hobby.
A lot of bloggers aren’t posting as much.
A month is nothing though.
As far as I know Teeif is still around but I think his PC broke or something. I used to love reading his blog posts for the Brit-blogger solidarity but I’m sure he’ll be back soon.
I read Incredible Nothing! for a while too but there are so many anime blogs on my feedreader these days the lack of updates must’ve slipped by me.
There are a lot of blogs that are quiet at the moment but I think a lot of people are caught up in college assignments right now.
Wow the blogging slowdown seems to be contagious. Almost seems like someone new is stopping or taking a break or leaving some sort of notice of a slowdown.
…I think every one’s just being lazy because the holidays are coming up! This is a completely wrong and illogical theory (because it’s been going on too long), but I’m sticking to it. It’s happier than imagining everyone but me getting a life. T_T
I dread this. Right now I’m posting almost every day but I know a time will come soon enough when no ideas will come. Since I don’t do episodes I know that I’m particularly vulnerable.
In the mean time I’m still in my infancy as an anime blogger, and it seems like there’s so much to discuss. I’m also so addicted to this crack that I’m posting this comment on my mobilet phone while commuting to work.
Followed you on Twitter just to indicate that I’m still alive.
Rejoice, for I seem to be here permanently this time. Seriously, this is the longest I’ve blogged without fleeing the aniblogosphere since I opened my aniblog in March 2006.
I wish the three of them the best of luck (though I’m only close to one of them XD). Issa-sa is still keeping in touch to everyone by commenting btw ^^.
issa-sa hasn’t been going on line a lot, but she’s been doing random posting now and again. and i only started reading teeif’s blog then he suddenly disappeared O_O
@oleblue
I doubt there’ll be a time when people no longer want to pour their thoughts out on the internet, and people won’t want to read the aforementioned pourings.
@IcyStorm
How about 2?
@concretebadger
Just good to know no disaster befell him.
When work is done, ’tis time for partying. Then time for blogging.
@FuyuMaiden
Don’t worry, I still have no life ;_;
@ghostlightning
Dude, you have nothing to worry about. First you’ll be posting like crazy, then you’ll setlle into a routine, hit a rough patch, and come back stronger than ever. It’s standard for all bloggers IMO. Currently in rough patch ;_;.
@bluemist
Domo.
@lolikitsune
Didn’t know of you, so didn’t miss you. Be this a crime?!
@kanzeon
Where? Have not seen it in a while…
@biankita
Didn’t even have the time to become a fan, such a shame (- -)
