The shrine maiden of Noto-riety.
First off, I must commend Mamiko Noto on her voice-acting here; it’s not the airy, ashy style that irritates me, and she really takes the dialogue of Deep Blood and makes it work. That “Can’t even give me 100 Yen” line was delivered perfectly. In fact, I really like Aisa’s character just in general. She can control zombies, kill vampires, is at the centre of a huge conspiracy, and is both naive and sarcastic at the same time, what’s not to love?
Damn, those nuns really have an addiction to ice cream.
The first half of the episode was pretty entertaining and funny, though not startling or surprising in any way. The second half, on the other hand ended up boring and once again laden with exposition. With Shana it was a useless love triangle for the first 11 episodes, and with this it’s just a slow plod through rivers of information with the occasional sparkle of comedy and/or action. Hopefully we’ll get a mixture of all three aspects that doesn’t facilitate extreme boredom. Show us more of that first two episode awesomeness, dammit!
That’s exactly what I wanted to see. Tsundere Stiyl.
Next Time:
TAMAYA!
“Show us more of that first two episode awesomeness, dammit!”
What awesomeness? Anyways, sorry to burst your bubble but things won’t be getter better for the next couple episodes until Misaka’s “sister” gets torn a-… well, spoilers should be saved 🙂
