This season’s OPs need more Western bands.
Guin Saga: Shut the hell up, Remus.
Pros: good animation, interesting story/fantasy setting, good music.
Cons: The twins are irritating as hell.
Sticking around?
I’ll probably be sticking with thos one, so long as Remus and Linda grow the hell up quickly because they are really annoying.
Tears to Tiara: Cloud of Ominous Doom
Pros: Good art/animation, likable characters, interesting premise, good music.
Cons: Nothing really notable except the action could be better.
Sticking around?
The most surprisingly good show of the season, with which I have no real problems. Will definitely be watching this.
Cross Game: Summer of Love
Pros: Nice tone/style, good animation, some “X” factor.
Cons: Wakaba ;_;
Sticking around?
As you can tell from above, I don’t really know why I like this show but I do. There’s something simple and charming about it that makes me want to watch more. Another on the “YES” list.
Eden of the East: “I need to see your Johnny”.
Pros: Good character animation, Akira’s the best lead of the season, interesting premise actually helped by use of amnesia. OP of pure win.
Cons: CG is really out of place. I’m surprised Production I.G would use so much of it. Poor writing at times (I don’t think American cops are that incompetent), Saki dotes on Akira like a lovestruck puppy.
Sticking around?
For sure. I just hope that there’s less of a ridiculous light-heartedness to things (as I don’t normally magine that when a guy flashes you on the street you just give him your trousers.) If they focus more on the drama/thriller elements than the stupidity then it could get awesome. Though still not as entertaining as Basquash.
I liked how the American cops in Eden of the East decided to chase after the truck (that they thought Mr. Naked escaped on) on foot when their police car was right across the street.
@fangzhao
Oh wow, didn’t notice that either. Those clumsy cops.
