Breaking windows, jumping fences and knocking out teachers.
Brings back good memories…
I wouldn’t consider myself much of a slice-of-life fan, but considering the fact I enjoyed watching four girls looking for their classroom for 20 minutes, I think I’ll have to reconsider that. The girls are unique and interesting (I already love Toroka for knocking out Boxing-sensei) though I could get tired of Hirano Aya’s innocent shy girl voice for Ayumi, who’s character isn’t nearly as engaging as the others (too weak willed). Suzu and Tatsuki are a laugh riot though, silent girl who can break doors and posh princess who has no idea where her classroom is even after nine years at the school. The girls already seem to have a natural report (good interactions) with each other (who the heck argues that if you have more right-handed people in a group you’ll naturally “veer to the right”?) and the comedy was spot on, if not as frequent as the likes of Minami-ke.
The art and animation were good, and the BGM, though kind of unnoticeable, fit the scenes well. I like all the voice actresses so far (other than Hirano Aya) and there’s a lot to expand upon, considering that there were about 7 or 8 girls shown at the end of the episode who’s character designs were kind of FAR OUT and as such seemed to be an interesting addition to the cast. The OP and ED were dissapointing, especially as the OP was just a unch of scenes taken from the episode, and the ED were random sketches. Songs didn’t stand out amid the sea of J-Pop either.
Not blogging, but avidly watching.
If that’s not a Beatles reference, I don’t know what is.
Epic win indeed
