The tilt of the cap, the look in the eye, the set of the jaw and her hair blowing in the wind inside the classroom – fantastic.
Minorin is fast starting to usurp the Favourite Toradora! Character position currently occupied by the amazingly cute Taiga – and that takes some doing. I never thought that I’d love her character this much, but she provides such random hilarity that she is truly un-unloveable. Loved her TAIGA LIFT~ and how she recognized immediately that Taiga had fake boobs. None can deceive Minorin. NONE.
WE ARE NOT AMUSED.
I have no idea what to make of Taiga’s reaction to Ami’s advances on Ryuuji. Jealousy? Facepalm worthy Incredulity? Simple irritation? I always thouight we’d go with the stock “they like others but learn to love each other” scenario but the two seem to really support each other like true friends rather than potential lovers. And poor poor Inko-chan I hope he’s dead that damn parrot annoyed and scared the crap out of me okay.
I hope those two never stop tearing each other apart, it makes for great bitching. Notice the irony: Taiga, the smallest girl in the show, calling Ami Stupid Chihuahua. FAITO~ TAIGA-SAMA. Working out by lifting lolis is fine too.
Yuri was bloody hilarious in her 1 minute of screentime; I like how the show makes good use of its minor characters rather than introducing them, and letting them fade into complete obscurity. Damn kids complaining when they got it so good! Hell, I’d be irritated if a supermodel as hawt as Ami was complaining about being embarassed at a pool. Don’t worry, you’ll definitely get that man you so desperately search for. FAITO~ YURI-SENSEI!

This entire scene had a sense of warmth and understanding to it and not just because Ryuuji was going out of his way to use his Breast Pad Making H4X. Few words exchanged but many feelings conveyed and not showing Taiga’s face made it all the more effective. Also, gaming heals all wounds.
We’ve now gone from a fake character to a personality disorder.
Taiga really likes to fondle those balls.
I swear, you could use Taiga as a missile against your enemies. Also of note, CG Bubbles?
Truly a hilarious episode all round, one of my favourites to date. I leave you with these words of wisdom: Love is never having to say “I’m going to replace your boobs”.

Personally, I’m a Minorin fan myself. Not that I don’t like tsundere, for the love of god I married one. People who watch this show may dismiss it as shallow drivel, but they are missing something. Kitamura alone makes this show an essay on friendship that’s just in a different class.
I think Taiga was naturally somewhat jealous on a friendship level and also subconsiously on a romantic level, but I think the main point of the scene was her saving Ryuuji from Minorin seeing them. Taiga was annoyed that he allowed himself to get into such a position, when they were supposed to be working together to get with each other’s crushes.
And yeah, I agree with ghostlightning, sure it may seem generic on paper, but it’s actually pretty refreshing and interesting ocne you get to watching it. As the caption said, “In any other show, this would be the chance for hot passionz.” is all too true. I msut applaud JC Staff for staying mostly true to source and not letting it turn into “IYA, HENTAI!!” drivel.

Fair, and most likely correct interpretation. “Brothers in Arms”, so to speak. I do feel like every character in this show has more of an emotional weight to them, though there isn’t as much evidence in the show to back that statement up 🙂
