That’s exactly how I acted when I found out that Kitamura 1. Used to love Taiga and 2. she shot him down when he confessed to her (in a particularly straightforward and manly way I might add). I didn’t think it would actually happen, but in light of this ridiculous turn of events, I actually like Kitamura. It completely justifies the way he’s been acting, though I don’t understand how he could possibly interpret Taiga’s moe spazzing as just friendship. It was sweet of him to go along with the OHA~ and that plus the picture of Taiga he has in his diary/notebook/ nerd documents is, at least to me, indication that though he’s moved on, he hasn’t moved on, if you get my meaning.
A new challenger appears! I love Kano’s rough (similar to Taiga, only more totalitarian) character. Gotta love a female student council drill seargant who has a firm hand over the school but can’t remember a number for more than 3 seconds. I forsee lots of lightning glares and confrontations between her and Taiga in the future (though that’s less of a guess, and more of a certainty).
Blue haired and blue eyed. Absolutely no way you’d confuse her with the above girl, right?
EDIT: Thanks Son Gohan. Kawashima Ami and Kano Sumire look almost exactly the same, so I mistook them for each other; Ami didn’t even show up this episode. But my claim still stands; even though the preview says she’s air-headed (and she refers to herself in the third person, further supporting this claim) I get the feeling she’s less idiotic than she looks. FIGHT-O, TAIGA!
Ryuuji’s are people too, they always need their Minorin fix. I’m not much of a fan of pudding, but on this occasion it looks delicious. Minorin is cute, but crazy as well; I don’t know many people who would repeatedly make pudding in a bucket and then take pictures of thmselves during the process. But the Ryuuji wants what it wants.
Not a rip-off of any kind. The times I wasn’t ‘gasming over Taiga, I was laughing my ass off. The comedy in this show continues to be one of the highlights; kudos to a show that can get me in stitches over this:

Taiga was freaking adorable in this episode, it eclipses her past folly of turning down Kitamura only to fall in love with him and then some. In fact…

I was surprised that Kitamura used to like Taiga too, but I’ve always thought that Kitamura was pretty cool even before that. Ryuuji is definitely gangaster though. He’s so adorable, haha
